The new energy star LED products specification version 1.2 to version 2.0 what are the changes

The U.S. environmental protection agency (EPA) released the lamps and lanterns is 2.0 version of the final version of the energy star standard. The new specifications and all requirements will take effect on June 1, 2016.



Timeline:

June 1, 2016:2.0 version of the effective date of lamps and lanterns. All lamps before June 1, 2016 must make a new certification, otherwise it will not be in the energy star qualified products list (QPL).



On December 1, 2015: after December 1, 2015, all the lamps and lanterns must be in accordance with the 2.0 version of the test and evaluation of lamps and lanterns.
